He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon "Jack" Bowers and Ardath Bowers; and his wife Helene. He is survived by: his son Dwight Bowers (Laura); and his siblings, Jim Bowers (Sharon), Bruce Bowers (Carol), Nancy Bergman (Mike), Border Collie and Laddie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
