He was predeceased by: his siblings, Floyd Wert, Myrtle Beckett, Lillian Siegel and George Wert. He is survived by: his wife Lyone Wert (Van Zant); and his siblings-in-law, Leon and Ann Van Zant. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
