He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Friend Ravell and Dorothy Cleo (Baisch); his grandparents, Henry and Amanda Baisch; his wife Janet Hackbardt; and his daughters, Dorothy Ravell and Eileen Ravell.
He is survived by: his children, George Ravell (Carol), Katherine Salton (Sam) and Laura Meyering (John); his grandchildren, Charles Salton (Becky), Sarah Huedepohl (Matt), Andrea Snyder (Patrick), Bayley Taylor (Andy), David Meyering (Kelly), Olivia Ravell and Henry Ravell; and his brothers-in-law, George Hackbardt, Dan Deurloo (Suzi) and Dave Deurloo. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
In honor of George and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Bethel Lutheran Church of Howard City, MI or Helping Hands Howard City.
