He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Theodore Franz and Edna Alma Nelda Gauerke (Kronberg); his former wife Shirley Ann Drath Gauerke; his wife Pat (Siegrist); his daughter Heather Edna Baker; and his siblings, Earl, Anita and Phillip Gauerke.
He is survived by: his children, Natalie Ann Gauerke-Shaffer (Roger) of Howard City, Audrey Renee Drath Gauerke of Rawlings, Curtis Anton Gauerke of Grand Ledge and Kirsten Elaine Mires (Jim); his grandchildren, Micah, Ethan, Dylan, London, Andrew and Emmett; and his siblings, Mildred Golden, Melda Bang, Lois Edlinger and Elizabeth Gauerke.
