He was predeceased by: his father James Kentgen; and his brothers-in-law, Jeffrey Johanson and Joseph O'Halloran. He is survived by: his mother Jean Kentgen; his wife Krystyna Kowalczyk; his siblings, Robert Kentgen (Patricia Kentgen) and Kathleen Johanson (John Kentgen); and his siblings-in-law, Barbara O'Halloran, Helen Molloy (James) and Richard Kowalczyk (Laura). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be given to Christ the King Catholic Church in Howard City.
