He is survived by: his wife Gladys Hess of Howard City; his children, Angel Hess of Howard City, Brandy Swartz (Rodger) of Rodney and Dezaray Hallaxs (Brian) of Sand Lake; his grandchildren, Sammi, Ashley, Hannah, Shane, Rodger Jr., Cody, Brian and Aaron; his great grandchildren, Wyatt and Nevaeh; his siblings, Paul Hess (Barbara) of Wilmington, NC, Robert "Bob" Hess of Grand Rapids, John Hess (Mavis) of Kentwood, Vincent "Buck" Hess (Tori) of Lisbon Falls, ME and Anna Hudson (Leon) of Hartford; his aunt Patricia "Pat" Hess-McCombs; and his close friend Ajax. He is also survived by many uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins.
