It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carrie Elizabeth Middleton of Howard City, Michigan, born in Stanton, Michigan, who passed away on July 12, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Smith and Orilla Smith (Robinson); her husband Roy; and her siblings, Arthur Smith, Ida Nielson, Carl Smith, Vera Hammer and George Smith.
She is survived by: her children, William LeRoy Middleton (Mildred) of Colorado and Marlene Kay Middleton of Greenville; and her grandchildren, Robert Middleton (Cathy), Scott Middleton (Ali), Terry Middleton (Helen), Donald Topper (Tara), April Overzet (Timothy) and Melinda Barnes. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren.
