He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Rector and Gladys Rector (Bird); and his siblings, Marian and James. He is survived by: his wife Edith Ranney; his children, Tim (Rachel) and Debra Mossell (Kory); and his sister Norma Shira of Grand Rapids.
