He was predeceased by: his former wife Helene Godley; his son-in-law Allan Wadecki; and his brothers, Stanley Godley, Kenneth Godley and Gene Godley.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Godley (Hull); his children, William Godley (Sheila), Marie Wadecki and Bruce Godley (Allison); his grandchildren, Adam Wadecki (Shanari), James Godley (Leslie), London Godley, Logan Godley and Landry Godley; and his great grandchildren, Tim Godley, Will Godley and Westley Wadecki.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions may given to the Howard City Action Center for Senior Citizens.
