He was predeceased by: his parents, Lorne Lindsay and Millie Lindsay (Abel); his siblings, Howard Lindsay, Lionel Lindsay, Bruce Lindsay, Flora Witte and Alma Colberg; and his brothers-in-law, Gerald Richert and Ralph Harris.
He is survived by: his wife Rosalie Lindsay; his children, Diane Farkas (Vincent) and Scott Alan Lindsay; his grandsons, Justin Farkas (Chelsey) and Cody Farkas (Kelsie); his great grandchildren, Peyton Farkas, Liam Farkas and Kinsley Farkas; his sisters, Beatrice Richert and Mildred Shell (Elwin); and his sisters-in-law, Kathleen Lindsay, Irma Jean Harris, Beverly Rogers and Janet Griffes (Terry). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
