We are sad to announce that on April 10, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Steven Waisanen (Houghton, Michigan), born in Lansing, Michigan. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Calvin Waisanen; his aunts and uncles, David Waisanen, Mary, Jim Michie of Mass City, Carol Waisanen of Houghton, Melvin Waisanen of Jackson, MI. and Heidi Waligora; and his cousins, James Michie (Michelle), Katherine Zahn (Randy) and Emly Foreman Numerous (Sean).
He is survived by: his mother Helmi Raaska of Ann Arbor; his wife Betty Fowler; his children, Ryan and Shane Waisanen of Bellville, MI.; his sister Elena Sherrod (Idris) of Whitmore Lake, MI.; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Lee Jr., Idris Jr. and Briita; his son Harrison of Houghton; and also, Jazalyn Sherrod (Lee Coval) and Jody of Marquette. He is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy the family suggests memorial be given to the Houghton High School Athletic Boosters club to help with the golf team or the Charity of ones choice in memory of Steven Waisanen.
