He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Bennett and Thelma Bennett (Bailey); his former wife Judy; his siblings, Jack Bennett, Maureen "Mimi" Pelkie and Mary Bennett; and his pets, Cubby, Willow, Brody, Heathie, Darcy, Collen, Toby, Rosebud, Greta and Corky.
He is survived by: his wife Diane of Boot Lake; his stepchildren, Shane Flynn (Bernadette) of Memphis, TN, Trevor Flynn (Heather) of Marquette, MI. and Alayna Prahl (Michael) of Marquette, MI.; his grandchildren, Judah, Eleanor, Greyson Flynn, Ember, Asher and Auburn Prahl; and his pets, Blue Boy and Lolly.
