He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Julian Burroughs Hatton and Mary Hatton (Pulliam); his wife Mary Jane; his sons, Michael P. Hatton, Jr. (Jenny) and Christopher W. Hatton; his stepmother Joyce V. Hatton; his siblings, Judy Merwin, Nancy Merwin, John Merwin, Fritz Hatton (Caren), Greg Hatton (Anne), Julian Hatton (Alyson), Brett Hatton and Lydia Hatton; and his grandchildren, Paige Makayla Hatton and Caleb Nathaniel Hatton.
