It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marian Rossi of Houghton, Michigan, born in Chassell, Michigan, who passed away on September 22, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Girard and Alvina Girard (Morin); her husband Joseph "Chinko" Rossi of Hancock; her son-in-law Oscar Nyman; and her siblings, Janet, Betty and William.
She is survived by: her children, Marjorie Nyman of Arizona, Joseph Rossi (Mary) of Houghton and David Rossi (Barbara) of Chassell; and her grandchildren, Lesley Mclean (Bruce), Christopher Nyman, Andrew Nyman (Michelle), David Nyman (Cher), William Rossi, Jodi Rossi, Zach Rossi and Emily Krauel (Travis). She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorials in lieu of flowers may be directed to St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church in Houghton.
