It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harry Sam Suojanen (Houghton, Michigan), who passed away on February 28, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Suojanen and Alma Suojanen (Holappa); his wife Marcella; his siblings, Roy, Virginia, Irene, Verna and Mrytle; his grandson Andrew; and his great grandchildren, Eddie and Lincoln.
He is survived by: his children, Betty Thompson (Scott), Barbara Litzner (John), Harry "Butch" Suojanen Jr. and William Suojanen (Kimberly); his grandchildren, Gene, Mindy, Greg, Nicole, Crystal, Heather, Logan and Luke; his great grandchildren, Gene, Daniel, Natalie, Mariah, Matthew, Aili-Drew, Katelyn, Alex, Ella, Samantha and Zahavah; and his sister Kathryn Harris.
