He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Pius, Wilhelmina Smith, Augustus and Elizabeth Vaillancourt; his parents, Paul Smith and Lorainne Smith; his siblings, James Smith and Judy Moore (Smith); and his grandson Kurt Davidson.
He is survived by: his children, Holly Thompson (Smith), Paul Smith (Shannon), Christi (Jeffrey) and Morgan (Smith); his grandchildren, Lily Thompson, Lauren Stromer, Meagan Stromer, Devyn Spillane (Smith), Ty Smith, Rhyan Smith, Leal Smith, Danna Smith, Gabe Smith, Liv Smith, Jude Smith, Ani Smith, Alex Morgan, Sam Morgan and Makayla Morgan; his great grandchildren, Quinn Spillan, Eon Smith and Tavious Smith; his wife Nancy; and his siblings, Michael Smith (Gloria), Shirley Raines (Jim), Mary Roose (Steve), Linda McIntyre (Ken), Susie Burgess (John) and Tom Smith (Mary Ann).
