Fred Lassila Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fred Lassila of Houghton, Michigan, born in Hancock, Michigan, who passed away on February 6, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lassila and Milga Lassila (Malineimi); his grandson Pasha Molitor; and his siblings, Arnie, Robert and Betty Wettberg.
He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Lakanen; his children, James Lassila (Nicki) of Chassell, Michael Lassila (Patricia) of Grafton, WI and Lori Molitor (Ken) of Sheboygan, WI.; his grandchildren, John Lassila, Jeremy Lassila (Stacey), Jay Eric Lassila (Andrea), Alex Lassila (Anna), Chelsea Lassila, Sam Lassila and Serjey Molitor; and his great grandchildren, Nora and Bryce.
Fred's family would like to thank Dr. Janner's and his staff for the care given to him also memorial donations in Fred's memory are asked to be directed to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church of Chassell.
