She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Kaikkonen and Lempi Kaikkonen (Soronen); her husband Donald Thorpe; her daughter-in-law Linda Thorpe; and her siblings, Ellen, Ruth, Marjorie and William.
She is survived by: her sons, Larry Thorpe (Diane) and Scott Thorpe (Jacqueline); her granddaughters, Kristen Truscott (Michael), Samantha Thorpe and Stefanie Thorpe; and her great grandchildren, Aubree and Adelyn Truscott. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
