With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Bernadine Maki of Houghton, Michigan, who passed away on February 9, 2022 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Petrelius and Anna Petrelius (Torro); her former husband Rudolph Beltari; her spouse Evert Maki; and her siblings, Edsel, Richard, Robert Petrelius, Margaret Mattila and Ruth Hanka.
She is survived by: her siblings, Hazel Tepsa of Houghton, Her and Donald Petrelius (Carol) of Houghton, Her; her aunt Dorine Torro of Fenton, MI; and her stepchildren, Gerry Maki (Carla), Pamela Walsh, Sandy Lester (Bill) and Numerous. She is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, the family suggests that memorials be given to the Omega House or the Camp Lahti Retreat Center.
