With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dolores Paavola of Houghton, Michigan, who passed away on May 15, 2022 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Onkalo and Helen Onkalo (Haivala); her husband Robert Paavola; her grandson Erik; and her siblings, Barney, Jack, Kenneth, Betty, Marie and Philip Onkalo.
She is survived by: her children, Robert "Butch" Paavola (Debbie) of Baltic, Edward Paavola (Debbie) of Baltic, Jayne Paavola-Neault (Terry) of Swedetown Location, Paul Paavola (Debbie) of Houghton and Julie Paavola-Shulstad (John) of Green Bay, WI.; her grandchildren, Avery (Jen), Amber (Kevin), Kiel (Desiree), Daniel (Emily), Joe Phillip (Tasha), Natalie and Dylan; and her sister Susan Koskela of Atlantic Mine.
