He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce Lannon; and his sons, Phillip Lannon and Tim Steinbrink. He is survived by: his children, Jason Lannon, David M. Lannon (Jennifer) and Joyce Routh (Ron); and his grandchildren, Vanessa Phillip Jr. (Chris), Delanie M., Payton, Andrew, Kaitlyn, Brennah, Ryan, Danielle, Jonathon, Anthony (Alexis), Brittany (McClain), Bailey, Rich and Josh. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
