With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas D. Borton of Houghton Lake, Michigan, born in Flint, Michigan, who passed away on September 7, 2022 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, J. C. Wilbur and Ida Mae Borton (Currie); and his wife Emily Jean Borton (Peterson). He is survived by: his children, James Borton (Margaret), Amy Ross (Tim), Teri Brendsel (Kirby) and Tamara Porras (Robert); his sister Julie A Carnegie (Gavin); his grandchildren, Arianna Ross, Adam Borton, Stephanie Borton, Bridget Hite and Anna Brendsel; his great grandchildren, Alexya, David, Ava and Aries; his nieces and nephews, Kelly, Kerry, Michon, Josh, Matthew, Mike and Mark; his son Thomas Borton (Tommy); and his sister Sharon Barcey.
