It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stephen Alton Howey III of Houghton Lake, Michigan, who passed away on August 31, 2023, at the age of 50, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Steve Howey Jr. and Diedre Stensrud (DeeDee); his stepmother Lisa Howey Jr.; his sisters, Angela Howey, Misty Seal (Mark), Amber Howey and Amy Howey; his nieces and nephews, Maya LaPrad, Emily Elkins (Cameron), Jacob LaPrad, Isaac LaPrad and Violet Carter; and his great-niece Leila LaPrad.
