She was predeceased by: her parents, Matthew Waltkas and Julia Waltkas; her son William Walton; and her brother Matthew Michaels. She is survived by: her husband Jerome "Jerry" Smith; her daughter Susan Manske (Craig); her daughter-in-law Mary Beth Walton; and her stepchildren, Jill Wendland (Todd), Leigh Tomlinson, Shelley Kondrat and Scott Smith (Barbara). She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and forty four great grandchildren.
