She was predeceased by: her parents, Shirley Griffin and Josephine Griffin (Hinman); her former husband Albert Horn; her husband Robert Smith; her sons, Albert, Richard and David Horn; and her brothers, William and Henry Griffin. She is also survived by many grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
The family prefers memorial contributions be made in Nellie's name to the Salvation Army.
