We are sad to announce that on November 4, 2023, at the age of 83, Leslie Bernard Newton of Houghton Lake, Michigan, born in Chesaning, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Newton and Iva Newton (Rogers); his brothers, Howard Newton (Irene), Roy Newton (Alice) and Raymond Newton (Ann); his niece Linda Marshall; and his nephews, Dean Newton, Gary Newton and Paul Pringle.
He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Karen Pringle of Hemlock, Debbie Madonio (Andy) of Texas, Clifford Newton (Sue) of Birch Run and Robert Newton of Saginaw; and his close friends, Louise, Steve Fraser of Lake City, Adam Fraser of Lake City, Jay, Bob, Joanne Zavitz of Prudenville, Evan Wysznski of Mt. Pleasant, Joshua Fraser of Lake City, Melody Fraser of Lake City and Kassandra Fraser-Kassuba of Lake City.
Les was active in donating time, money and efforts to local charities.
