With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Larry Sorenson of Houghton Lake, Michigan, born in Wyandotte, Michigan, who passed away on May 9, 2021 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Sorenson and Rosella Sorenson (Roberts); and his siblings, Virginia Reichoow, Orvella Niemen, Vernon, Donny, Kenny, Elden and Thomas.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Peggy" Sorenson of Houghton Lake; his children, Tony Sorenson (Brenda) of Tucson, AZ and Lori Sorenson of Inverness, Florida; his stepsons, David Smith (Melanie) of South Carolina, Mark Smith (Evelyn) of Roscommon and Thomas Smith (Melissa) of Melvindale; his grandchildren, Jared Smith, Amanda Smith, Tim Smith (Mandy), Brianna Sorenson, Savannah Uhlmer, Brandon Smith, Meagan Sorenson, Bradley Smith and Clark Smith; his stepgrandchildren, Jorge Lopez, Victoria Green, Michael West and Donna Tocco; his great grandchildren, Kyler, Kias, Zander and Seth; his brother Mike Sorenson of Florida; and his nephew Wayne Carter of Florida.
Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, masks covering the mouth and nose will be required, social distancing will be observed, and the funeral home capacity is limited to 25 people at any given time.
