He is survived by: his wife Louise Paxson of Houghton Lake; his children, Pamela Giddens (Roy) of North Edwards, CA and John Paxson (Regina) of Houghton Lake; his grandchildren, Novella (Erin), Ross, Nathaniel and Jonathan; his great grandchildren, Elizabeth and Avangelina; his siblings, Alfred Paxson (Judy) of Canton, Richard Paxson of Westland, Roger Paxson (Loretta) of Grand Rapids and Susan Sanchez of Kentwood; his brother-in-law Carey Earnest (Judy) of Tipton, GA; his close friends, Bob and Pat Payne; and also, Bobby, Tim, Angie, Kyle of Sycamore, GA, Denny, Pat Kiroff and Scott of Houghton Lake. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of John are asked to be directed to Faith Alive Assembly of God Church of West Branch or the American Cancer Society.
