He was predeceased by: his parents, Eberhard Kahmann and Eleanore Kahmann (McCallum); his wife Diana Jean Hein; and his siblings, Robert Kahmann, James Kahmann and Judy Heinmiller.
He is survived by: his children, Lynn Harris of Alpena, Marilyn Chubb of Alpena and Cindy Gierszewski of Houghton Lake. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be given to Disabled American Veterans (DAV) or to a local animal shelter.
