He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Long and Iona Long (Pecoy); and his brother Richard Long. He is survived by: his wife Joan H Horigan of Houghton Lake; his sons, William Long, Ernest Long and John Long; his stepsons, Kenneth Horigan of Prudenville, Brian Horigan and Jeffrey Horigan of Houghton Lake; and his brother Jack Long of Saginaw.
