We are sad to announce that on May 15, 2022, at the age of 85, Clifton R. Halliday of Houghton Lake, Michigan, born in Howell, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Halliday and Lisette Halliday (Heard); his former wife Edah L. Halliday; and his siblings, Charles Halliday, Walter Halliday, Betty Halliday, Marion Warner, Katherine Wendel and Frances Jeske.
He is survived by: his wife Louise Halliday; his children, Lucendia Halliday and Cliff Halliday Jr. (Debra); his stepchildren, Kenneth Spurgeon (Debra), Michael Spurgeon and Karen Salyers; his grandchildren, Chauncey Halliday (Michelle Foster), Nathan Halliday and Valentina Halliday; his stepgrandchildren, Brittany Spurgeon, Megan Spurgeon and Derek Sanders; his great grandchildren, Jacob, Meghan, Brayden and Khloe Halliday; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Logan, Haleigh, Ryleigh Foster, Gabriella and Isabella Sanders; and his sister Freda Akin.
In-lieu of flowers memorial contributions in memory of Clifton are asked to be directed to the Houghton Lake Wesleyan Church.
