It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Claire Allain of Houghton Lake, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on April 10, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Denis Cloutier and Emilie Cloutier (Beauvais); her siblings, Rita Renner (Cloutier), Therese Smith (Cloutier), Gerard, Eugene and Roger Cloutier; and her son David Allain.
She is survived by: her daughters, Diane Nelson of Battle Creek, MI and Darlene Caimotto (Tom) of Livonia, MI; her grandchildren, Scott Nelson (Cheryl), Christine VanDenBerg (Michael), Robert Nelson, Brian Nelson (Sara), Jill Meister (Peter), Karen Carson (Jean), Thomas Caimotto (Stephanie), Danielle Maser (Eric) and Curtis Allain (Nikki); her great grandchildren, Ryan Nelson, Claire Nelson, Christopher VanDenBerg, Molly VanDenBerg, Joseph VanDenBerg, Devin Nelson, Monica Nelson, Brian Nelson, Allyson Fox, Jordan Nelson, Michelle Meister, Jessica Meister, Spencer Crutchfield, Dylan Crutchfield, Connor Crutchfield, Dominick Caimotto, Sarah Caimotto, Austin Mazurek and Samantha Maser; her half-sister Janet Pietraz (Jim); and her stepbrother Paul Ninelist (Isabella).
