It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Cheryl Marie Taylor of Houghton Lake, Michigan, born in Bend, Oregon, who passed away on May 16, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Cloyde "Robert" Herringshaw; her husband Richard Taylor; and her brother-in-law Lonnie Frey. She is survived by: her mother Virginia Herringshaw (Cunningham); her son Matthew Herringshaw (Shelley Resto); her stepson Richard Taylor; her siblings, Trudee Frey, Ken Herringshaw (Vicki) and Ronald Herringshaw (Cindy); and her grandsons, Matthew Jr., Mason and Timothy. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Per her wishes, Cheryl chose to be anatomically donated. The family prefers memorial contributions be made in Cheryl's name to the Roscommon County Victim Services Unit, and the Roscommon County Food Pantry.
