He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Burdette and Ruth Yvonne DeWitt (Kaus); and his sister Betty. He is survived by: his wife Sally; his children, Shaun DeWitt (Barbara), Kristine Robere II (Bruce), Carl DeWitt, Rebecca DeWitt, Josh Sanford (Emily) and Angela Sanford; his grandchildren, Skyler, Savanna, Emma DeWitt, Nathaniel, Elliott, Lexi and Caleb; and his siblings, Peggy Lyp, Dave DeWitt and Don.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Faulmann & Walsh Golden Rule Funeral Home (32814 Utica Rd, Fraser, MI 48026). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
