With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Leist of Horton, Michigan, born in Kingsley, Michigan, who passed away on March 4, 2021 at the age of 85. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ruth Leist to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clayton Sr. Boone and Alma Boone; her husband Frank Carlton Leist; her sons, Daniel and Patrick Leist; and her siblings, Phyllis Hall, Maxine Smith, Donald and Clayton Boone.
She is survived by: her children, Frank Leist (Jan), Marvin Leist (Patti), Gail Leist and Kathy Kerr; her grandchildren, Frank Leist (Becky), Wade Leist (Sarah), Brandon Leist, Billy Marme, Adam Leist (Beth) and Nicole Leist; and her pet Jackie. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins along with her faithful companion.
Her family request that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made in Ruth's name to the Munson Healthcare Hospice, Jesus is Lord Community Church in Bay Shore or the local food pantry.
