She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Furman Jr. Grooms; her children, Katherine McBee (Bill), Brenda Alonzi, Charles Grooms (Gwen), Vickie Przybylski (George, Sr.) and Eula Grooms; her sisters, Edna and Ruth; and her parents, Clyde Lindsey and Susie Lindsey. She was also cherished by many grandchildren and many, great grandchildren.
