He is survived by: his wife Staci; his children, Halle and Sam Swihart; his parents, Gordon Swihart and Kathy Swihart; his brother Jeff Swihart (Liz); and his parents-in-law, Bruce and Tammy Dean. He is also survived by ten nieces and nephews and numerous aunts, uncles.

Visitation was held on Sunday, September 22nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, September 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM. A celebration of life was held on Monday, September 23rd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Jackson Free Methodist Church (2829 Park Dr, Jackson, MI 49203). A burial was held on Monday, September 23rd 2024 at the St. John Catholic Cemetery (403 E South St, Jackson, MI 49203).
