With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wray Earl Ertle of Hopkins, Michigan, who passed away on June 25, 2024 at the age of 93. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Wray Earl Ertle to pay them a last tribute.

Though Wray may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Wray touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Earl and Katherine Ertle (Wray); his children, Wray E. Ertle, Jr., April Joy Shea and Hazel; and his brother David Ertle.

He is survived by: his spouse LindaCarol (Peake); and his brother Floyd Ertle (Janice). He is also survived by many children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, KS 66675-8516.
