It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Rose Arnsman of Hopkins, Michigan, who passed away on December 1, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Thompson and Alice Thompson (Rose); her husband Lee "Pete" Arnsman; her son Mark Arnsman; her daughter-in-law Ann Marie Arnsman; her siblings, Jerry Thompson, Hannah Pogodzinski and Richard Paul Thompson II (Junior); and her great grandchild Bryanna Rose Stone.
She is survived by: her children, Melanie Richards (John), Melvin Arnsman and Marcia Arnsman-Stone; her sisters, Joan Riksen (Bill), Marjory Smith (Ike), Kay Ann Petterson (Richard) and Denise L. Thompson; and her grandchildren, Harley Stone, Jasmine Stone, Amanda Rose Weber, Kimberly Kompier, Kevin Stone, Eric Arnsman, Jody Richards and Bill Richards.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Hopkins Chapel (208 W Main St, Hopkins, MI 49328). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Maplewood Cemetery (17th St & 130th Ave, Hopkins Township, MI 49328).
