He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edward and Beatrice Marie Grutter (Howell); his daughter-in-law Tracy Grutter; and his niece Ann Thompson Lindbloom (Marilynn). He is survived by: his wife Marilynn Frances Jones; his grandchildren, Rachel, McKenna Battjes, Maxwell and Benton Grutter; his great grandchildren, Eloise Piper and Blakely James; his grandson Jason (Samantha Battjes); his siblings, Judy (Grutter) and William (Bill); and his children, Julie Paasche (Grutter), Lisa (Grutter Battjes) and Paul (Ashley Grutter). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces, great nephews, and friends.
