He is survived by: his wife Jean Calkins (Lanting); his sons, Bill Calkins (Marlane), Don Calkins and Dave Calkins (Ruthe); his siblings, Gilbert Calkins and Sandra Roobol; his grandsons, Matthew and Michael Calkins; and his stepgrandchildren, Glenn and Jeffrey Ftacek. He is also survived by five step great-grandchildren.
