It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charlene McKinnon (Hopkins, Michigan), born in Dorr, Michigan, who passed away on June 23, 2019, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Gensler and Nora Ann Gensler (Lynch); her siblings, Milo Gensler (Dolores), Robert Gensler, Phyllis Brocker (Don) and Betty Bockheim; and her siblings-in-law, Patricia Hill (Herbert), Marcia Wilson (Harrison), John Barr and Ron VanderMoore.
She is survived by: her husband Robert McKinnon; her children, Timothy McKinnon (Beverly), Roderick McKinnon (June), Brian McKinnon (Karen), Lisa Evans (Mark), Michael McKinnon (Carolyn), Julie Paxson (Scott) and Cory McKinnon (Lisa Friend); her sister Helen Barr; her siblings-in-law, Vivian DeVos (Don) and Ron Bockheim; and her grandchildren, Gerid Adams (Denise), Justin Adams (Andrea), Staci Heppe (Jim), James McKinnon (Rachael), Michele McKinnon, Christopher McKinnon, Joseph McKinnon, Marie Conner (Jackson), Jacob McKinnon, Emmalee McKinnon, Nick Evans (Barb), Nora Evans (Bryan Cramer), Mitchel Evans (Samantha), Tyler VanderMoore (Jackie Korteway), Collin VanderMoore, Clint VanderMoore (Rylee Foster) and Skylar Recker. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made in Charlene's name to the Allegan County Medical Care Community or Sacred Heart Altar Society.
