He is survived by: his wife Karen Kay Johnson (Lueders); his son Curt Johnson (Danielle); his grandchildren, Madison Greene and Gabriel Johnson; his daughter Kindy Johnson; and his siblings, Connie, Laurie, Dee, Penny, Steve, Rick, Randy and Bud.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to any Firefighter Association, American Heart Association, National Kidney Foundation, &/or Diabetes Association.
