He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Beatrice Erdman and Charles Erdman; his wife Etta Edgecomb of Cadillac; his daughters, Coleen Merte (Ron) and Pamela Walters (Bob); and his sister Marilyn Jones. He was also cherished by five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
