With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lymon Jett Sr. of Honor, Michigan, who passed away on September 10, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Henry Jett and Willie Beatrice Vickers-Freeman (William Freeman, Sr); his siblings, J. C. Jett, James Jett (Lessie), Shelly Jett (Delores), Willie Dell Kyles (Jessie Lee) and Mary Ann Maddox (Sam); and his brother-in-law Robert Johns.
He is survived by: his wife Leola Jett; his children, Claudette Hoskins, Lymon Jett Jr. (Delnita), Robert Jett (Kathleen), Richard Jett (Linda Faye), Peggy Oliphant (Bennie) and Janet Jett (Keith); and his siblings, William Freeman, Jr. of Clayton, Alabama and Irene Johns of Tampa Florida. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, thirty-eight great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
