It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leticia Gomez-De Vega of Honor, Michigan, who passed away on September 20, 2022, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Roberto Gomez Sr.; her brothers, Gustavo, Samuel and Estanislao Gomez; her parent-in-law Beneranda Vega; and her grandson Carlos Menjivar.
She is survived by: her mother Victoria Gomez (Garza); her daughter Leticia; her husband Steve Vega; her children, Blanca Estella Menjivar (Mario), Esteban Vega Jr. and Evangelina Florez (Dillon); her grandchildren, Esteban "E. J." Vega, Adrian, Analicia, Benito, Mario, Nicolas, Marco Antonio, Reina, Estrella and Leticia; her siblings, Sanjuana Perez, Sara Gomez, Christina Oyerbides (Gilbert), Victoria Cantu (Margarito), Miguel Saucedo (Maria), Pablo Gomez, Roberto Gomez Jr., Rudy Gomez (Juana) and Manuel Martinez (Julie); her parents-in-law, Guadalupe Vega-Aldana (Juan), Teresa Gonzalez, Ofelia, Evangelina, Ester Vega, Juanita Belair, Emilio Esparza (Maria), Eliud Elizondo (Maria Elena), Noe Vega (Armandina) and Juan Vega Jr. (Maria); and her godchildren, Jesse, Jose "Bulldog", Trena, Lisa and Margarita. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and canine companions.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Vega family to assist with funeral arrangements.
