He was predeceased by: his father Arthur Emerick; and his siblings-in-law, Tammy Emerick and Joe Payne. He is survived by: his mother Rosemary Emerick (Goodell); his wife Sue Emerick; his children, Dr. Mark Emerick (Jackie) and Kim Monske (Eric); his grandchildren, Lauren, Alex, Madison and Jacob; and his siblings, Arthur Emerick (Carolyn), Chuck Emerick (Christina), Walter Emerick, Gloria Payne, Kathy LeCompte (Howard), Tom Emerick (Joan), Steve Emerick (Debbie) and Stan Emerick (Barb).
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Merkle Funeral Service (2442 N Monroe St, Monroe, MI 48162). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. The lying in state will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Divine Grace Parish (2996 W Labo Rd, Carleton, MI 48117). A Mass will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
