He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett M. Swanson and Thelma L. Swanson (Nostrand); and his brother Everett Jr.. He is survived by: his daughter Vicki Esch; his grandchildren, Christopher Saffron (Danida), Keturah Guzinski (Pete) and Erika Angell (Conrad); his great grandchildren, Annaka, Amelia Saffron and Emma Guzinski; his sisters, Loretta Brian and Vonda Finch (Arthur); his sister-in-law Gloria Swanson; his brother Karl Roger Swanson (Donna); and his brother-in-law Kent Gray (Booke).
