He was predeceased by: his wife Karen; his brother Richard; and his grandson Brad. He is survived by: his children, Jon (Kathy) of Thornville, OH, Tammy Meisel (Tom) of Howell, MI and Scott (Lisa Schleich) of Dundee, MI; his sister Nancy; and his sisters-in-law, Marianne and Pat.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Merkle Funeral Home (297 Tecumseh St, Dundee, MI 48131). A Mass was held on Thursday, September 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Irene Catholic Church (576 E Main St, Dundee, MI 48131).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Heart Association in his honor.
