He is survived by: his wife Alice Thomas of Homer; his children, Wayne Smith II (Kim) of Homer, Melissa West (Matt) of Milan, MI and Rachel Smith of Marshall; his grandchildren, Zachary Smith, Luke Smith, Heather Smith, Alex West and Austin West; and his brothers, Mark Smith (Dee) and Brent Smith.
